Japanese idol group KAT-TUN [CJ Net Media]
Six-member Japanese idol group KAT-TUN is set to release their latest single "Love Yourself" in Korea on Wednesday, according to a press release from the group's album promoter Mnet Media.
The single is also the theme song for Tokyo Broadcasting System's (TBS) drama "The Wallflower" which stars KAT-TUN member Kazuya Kamenashi.
The boys returned to the music scene for the first time in ten months with "Love Yourself" after last releasing a single, full-length album and live DVD in 2009.
The latest single is double-sided, featuring Kazuya Kamenashi's solo song from the group's Arena Tour on side 1 and Jin Akanishi's solo "You & Jin" from their Star Live concert on the other side.
The album will also include the music video, footage of the making and new song "HEART BEAT" along with instrumental versions of the songs.
The boy group, also composed of members Junnosuke Taguchi, Koki Tanaka, Tatsuya Ueda and Yuichi Nakamura, made their debut in 2006 with their first single album "Real Face." They are considered to be one of the most popular boy bands in Japan and have appeared in various Japanese variety shows and commercials.
